Cal Poly Pomona Student Housing and Dining Commons.
We have a long-standing relationship with HMC Architects and EYRC Architects and maintain a dynamic interaction that pushes each other to grow in media projects and find beautiful ways to show off their genius architecture.
A unique collaboration between HMC Architects and EYRC Architects transformed the Cal Poly student experience from a commuter school to one with well-conceived, on-site housing and dining commons. Once completed, they reached out to us to photograph the nurturing environment they created.
The addition of our team into their mix was a perfect fit. They wanted stills. They wanted video. They wanted drone work, behind-the-scenes, details, and they wanted everything with Social Space in mind. Because HMC always wants the best, we always find every way possible to give it to them.
The Cal Poly Dining Commons is dedicated to students where they can grab a meal in the food court and use multi-purpose rooms for gatherings and presentations.
Inside the two student housing buildings behind the Dining Commons, there are dedicated gathering spaces on every floor. Some areas are more private for quiet study, while others stimulate student engagement and interaction. Giant wall boards are provided for students to collect and organize their thoughts, and work out presentations.
