Photographing sports areas is no slam-dunk. The spaces are understandably expansive, so special consideration needs to be paid to show large-scale architectural design. Along with that are the issues of scheduling around leagues coming in and out, dealing with not-always-cooperative maintenance people and playing dodge ball with unexpected weather changes. All of these factors contribute to the exciting game of getting an amazing photo. Oh. And then there’s the Boom. Shooting the action from high in the air is a whole other level of fantastic that can present the architecture of a sports venue in its most spectacular light.
